They use this means to talk to me. I can talk to them in the same way, by injecting intrusive thoughts of my own back over to their side, and sometimes they answer, but sometimes they don't. Some adulthood trauma has also been mixed in there, since I retained the dissociative mechanisms as a maladaptive coping skill later into life. I know the trauma happened partly because of a small and loose handful of facts, but mostly because of an abundance of nightmares and aftermath symptoms.
