(Namespace: theories)

This was my first theory about how we are organized.

At this time, I was only aware of Lucy, Alice, and Daisy. I was also sort of aware of Singer, but thought she had died when the others burst out of her; I didn't yet realize she herself was also still there.

The theory went that each of us is a personification of a different trauma response / polyvagal state:

• Lucy is fight response;
• Alice is flight-like fawn response;
• Daisy is flop-like fawn response;
• I am freeze response.

I would later reattribute these response types to the color ranges in which my headmates happened to dwell at the time, not the headmates themselves.
