Incident-grouping

(Namespace: theories)

Each of my headmates holds a particular trauma, or sometimes just extreme stress and fatigue. At the time I formed this theory, I thought that was all there was to it, but now I believe it's just one of several ways of looking at it.

The materials they hold are grouped as such:

  • Sophie holds burnout, but at the time I formed this theory, I thought she held physical pain. (She might also hold physical pain.)
  • Kate holds perfectionism and denial.
  • Singer holds grief for the happiness we could have had.
  • Alice's unelaborated insiders—whom, at the time I formed this theory, I thought were all the same Alice—hold the suitcase incident, the verbal abuse from our mother, and the bullying at school.
  • Oliver holds the bathroom counter incident, though at the time I formed this theory, I thought that Lucy held it.
  • The Daisy/May subsystem, whom at the time I formed this theory I thought was just Daisy, holds the following:
    • Daisy holds whatever happened after the suitcase incident—as indicated by the thighs nightmare.
    • May holds nonviolent sexual abuse from my father during outings, as well as appeasing my mother to avoid being yelled at.
  • The Penelope/Anabelle subsystem holds the following, though at the time I formed this theory, I thought that Lucy held them:
    • Penelope holds nonviolent sexual abuse from my father at home.
    • Anabelle holds nonviolent sexual abuse from my father during supervised visitation.
  • Lucy seems to hold nothing but inner strength and wisdom and guidance—though at the time I formed this theory, I thought she held what I now know Oliver and the Daisy/May subsystem hold.
