A trauma-holder is a memory-holder who specifically guards traumatic memories away from the rest of the system's conscious awareness. This is often the trauma-holder's only role in the system, as that role alone is often too overwhelming for them to be able to serve any other function. A trauma-holder being made to front will generally result in (or can be said to be equivalent to) a flashback.
