Tulpamancy is a specific approach to inducing a parogenic system.

Much of the plural community finds tulpamancy distasteful, at least as practiced under that name. Tulpamancy has its own separate online subculture, which has appropriated the practice from Tibetan Buddhism, and is largely concentrated on 4chan and Reddit—although, for the record, this does not mean all modern tulpamancers are alt-right dirtbags.
