Healthy multiplicity
(Namespace: plural glossary)
| Type of term | Possible end goal for a system |
|---|---|
| Synonyms or near-synonyms | Coconscious, cofronting, internal communication, memory sharing |
| Antonyms or near-antonyms | Blackout, final fusion, grayout, integration, partitionary, time loss |
Healthy multiplicity is a non-medically-recognized alternative goal state for systems who do not desire final fusion. The concept is that for some systems, happiness can be attained while remaining plural, and becoming a singlet is simply not the healthiest possible outcome for them. Usually the connotation is that the resulting system is unchanged in constitution, but massively coconscious. I am personally unclear on whether or not the community maintains that healthy multiplicity can be attained while remaining fully partitionary.
