A system's body is simply its physicality. The body is the actual human organism who possesses the system as their collection of minds.

Different headmates may identify with the body to different extents. Some may feel like the only person who “should” inhabit the body, or the personification of the body within the system, or on the other hand some may feel like the body is “wrong” and does not belong to them.
