A city full of bustling commercial zones. Supposedly. Neon lights everywhere direct your attention toward stores and restaurants on every corner.

So… why are the streets and sidewalks empty?

Stay close to her. Don't talk to anyone whose back is turned. Don't get lost among the sweaters hanging up on the racks at the thrift store. Don't ask anyone for directions. Don't look at anyone. Avoid looking at people wherever possible.

And above all… Don't talk to her when her back is turned.

You must not make someone turn around to look at you. Under no circumstances can anyone's attention be on you. No one whose face isn't already in view can be allowed to suddenly creep in.

You won't like what's staring back at you if it does. It won't be a face.
