I'm uncertain when these two formed or why. I was reintroduced to them when they were split out of Lucy. They have nearly the same ideal body image, and present within our headspace as one person who keeps asking the rest of us to call them by different names. This also manifests in passive influence: it seems like half the time I try to type “Penelope” I accidentally type “Anabelle” and vice versa.

I don't even know what traumas they hold. I can only wager a vague guess: I think perhaps Penelope holds once-innocent memories of our father corrupted in hindsight by knowledge of what he would go on to do to us later, and Anabelle holds memories of supervised visitation with him.

Both of them are hedonistic. Both of them are also gleefully sadistic, in a way that hints at a lot of bottled-up anger. Anabelle is slightly more sadistic than Penelope.

They are also both highly fictionalized. Their homes in headspace, and their imagined roles and deeds there, are highly fantastical. My mind has done its damnedest to make sure they never surface in real life. That may be a problem for the healing process.
