Only the car can be used to traverse this offturn to go between the mountain city and the high school. If you try to go on foot, you'll never get from one to the other no matter how far you walk. Eventually, night will fall, and you'll be chased down the sidewalk by monsters representing high-schoolers. They will always be faster and will always catch up.
