Singer first formed to protect our system from what Oliver had been through. She left front shortly after her formation for an unknown reason, and returned to it in middle school, when we were given space for creative expression—but then left again in high school when Kate formed.
During college, Singer began to resurface, but Kate could not cope with her intrusion and responded aggressively. Singer tried again later, and Kate tried her best to cooperate, but in the end, Kate could not restrain herself during a flashback induced by Singer, and attacked her, breaking Lucy, Alice, and Daisy/May out of her and reducing Singer to her current state.
