Daisy/May subsystem

I was reintroduced to these two when they split out of Singer. As with Alice, I don't know much about when Daisy and May formed, only what trauma they hold, and that they had to become a subsystem to cope with more than one type. Unlike with Alice, the division between Daisy and May seems to be based not on type of trauma, but on emotional response to it, with both of them cooperating to handle everything they suffered indiscriminately between them but each feeling differently about it all.

Both Daisy and May hold two types of trauma: repeated nonviolent molestation by our father and his cohorts, and sucking up to our mother to try to make sure she wouldn't yell at us. Both of them coped by shutting down into an eternal peaceful daydream. They are May when they are soundly secured within the daydream, totally unaware of their own pain, and believe they are happy, and Daisy when material leaks in or out or they are otherwise on the verge of waking up. Should they awaken fully, they seem to then pass off to Alice.

For awhile, Daisy was in an intimate relationship with Lucy. This may have been ill-advised. Both of them had mixed feelings about it.

May has strong positive(?) memories of certain specific phrases.

Our father, imitating the voice of Prof. Oak from the first season of the Pokémon cartoon, once called May “another Pikachu for [his] Pikachu stew.” (Which was an invention purely his own. Prof. Oak does not canonically eat Pikachu stew at any point. That's not a thing.)

Our mother once said to May, “I love you more than all the stars in the sky. I love you more than pumpkin pie.”
