Syscovery (portmanteau of "[[system]]" and "discovery") is the moment or continuous process in which someone becomes aware they are [[plural]] and are part of a [[system]]. This does not necessarily coincide with the system's [[origin|original formation]]. It may, and often does, happen only once the system has already existed for years or even decades.
