Plural identity is the felt sense and lived experience of being "more than one;" of having [[headmate|headmates]], in other words. Plural people often, but not always, refer to themselves as [[system|systems]]. People may feel this way for a variety of [[origin|reasons]]. A substantial online subculture exists around plural identity.
