A persecutor is a [[headmate]] whose [[intrusion|intrusions]] cause psychological harm to the [[system]]. Often this harm may be experienced as the persecutor being cruel or mean. In the case of more [[facet]]-like or [[blurring]] persecutors, the harm might instead be experienced as extremely poor self-esteem.
