Passive influence is essentially the same thing as an [[intrusion]], except that where "intrusion" has an intrinsically negative connotation, "passive influence" does not. Calling it "passive influence" may also imply it's happening continuously over a period of time, as opposed to occurring for only a brief moment. It may be a more cooperative process than an intrusion, and may be a possible approach to [[healthy multiplicity]] or being [[coconscious]].
