"Multiple" can mean one of two things. It has one very broad meaning and one more specific meaning.

The broader meaning of "multiple" is simply as a synonym for [[plural]]. [[Median]] and [[mediple]] systems are multiple in this sense.

The more specific meaning of "multiple" refers to [[system|systems]] where the constituent [[headmate|headmates]] experience a felt sense of being //completely// different people. They may or may [[partitionary|not]] have a constant conscious awareness of the fact that there are others who share their body. They [[syscovery|may]] or may not even be aware of it at all.
