====== Mediple ====== (Namespace: [[plural glossary:start]]) ^ Type of term | Possible type of [[system]] | ^ Synonyms or near-synonyms | [[Median]], [[multiple]] | ^ Antonyms or near-antonyms | [[Singlet]] | A mediple [[system]] is one where the constituent [[headmate|headmates]] feel in //some// sense more like the "same" person than they do in a [[multiple]] system, but not so much like the same person as to consider themselves [[median]], let alone a [[singlet]]. They may, for example, consider themselves variations of the [[self]] in different hypothetical scenarios or at different points in the [[body|body's]] past, or different [[fragment|fragments]] of someone who is "supposed" to be "whole." They may have a [[gestalt]] but consider it a [[facade]]. There may be, but is not necessarily, a lot of [[internal communication]], [[intrusions]], and [[passive influence]] between headmates. Mediplicity can be thought of as partial [[fusion]] to a lesser extent than medianness.
