An intrusion is an unwanted memory, mental image, thought, emotion, vocal or motor tic, or other involuntary behavior, whose semantic content suggests it results from the [[fronter]] receiving unexpected [[internal communication]] or [[passive influence]] from an [[insider]] and being unequipped to respond appropriately.
