A facet is a [[headmate]] who feels very closely connected to other headmates in the [[system]], more like a mood that has some qualities of being its own person than a different person who can be [[switching|switched]] to like a mood. Facets are common in [[median]] systems. Calling a headmate a facet may imply that [[passive influence]] or [[blending]] is their primary means of surfacing.
