She introduced herself to me in a dream as the one who controls the switches. I had a hard time finding out anything about her after that, at first. Little did I know that was because she was actually //me,// and she was introducing herself to //[[Sophie]]// in that dream (who is also me, currently).

Also, the way she introduced herself was misleading. I //don't// control the switches. //She's// just the part of me that likes to //think// I do. There's a lot of denial wrapped up in Kate. Or, well... there //was.// After a quick dunk in [[headspace:Abyss]], she's been wising up.

Kate was created as a perfectionist to appease our mother. She carried us through our academic life. She has since descended once into [[headspace:Abyss]] and resurfaced. She and [[Sophie]] want to work together to get the rest of us out of there.
